Alt-Tech is an Australian family-owned business specialising in sustainable off-grid power solutions. We source new and used technology to craft tailored solutions for each application. We have a new store opening in November in Wagga Wagga, NSW.

Position

Technical Sales Specialist: We are looking for a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team. The role involves engaging with customers, providing technical support, and working with DC-electronic systems. These systems may simply include a solar panel and battery for a caravan or water pump, through to larger applications like an off-grid home. A background in electrical or engineering is preferred but not essential – passion, experience, and knowledge of electronics are key. Enjoy the variety of dealing with customers and finding a technical solution for their specific needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer service & sales

Technical support & problem solving

Retail tasks including stock management

Warehousing tasks including picking, packing, and shipping

What You Need:

Basic understanding of batteries and DC power

Excellent communication, rapport-building, and interpersonal skills

Self-motivated, resilient, and able to manage multiple priorities

Technologically savvy and reliable record keeping ability

Solution driven and lateral thinking skills

Physical fitness, with willingness to handle heavy, bulky items
