Technical Sales Engineer
Location: Western Sydney, NSW
Employment type: Full-time
Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 + super (depending on experience)
About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join our growing team. This position plays a key role in supporting sales and engineering functions by providing technical expertise, managing client requirements, and helping to deliver tailored solutions for infrastructure and construction projects.
You will work closely with internal teams and external clients to translate technical challenges into practical solutions, helping to build strong relationships and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support and advice to clients and the sales team.
Conduct assessments, inspections, or simulations to support solution development.
Prepare proposals, quotes, and technical documentation in line with client and engineering standards.
Manage and track opportunities through the sales pipeline.
Conduct site visits and client meetings to understand project needs.
Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and contribute to reporting.
Deliver training and technical guidance to team members.
Stay up to date with industry standards, trends, and competitor offerings.
About You
Qualifications & Training
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering (or related field).
Construction White Card and other relevant site licences (e.g., Working at Heights, EWP) preferred.
Additional training in technical sales or customer relationship management is an advantage.
Experience & Skills
Minimum 3 years’ experience in technical sales or engineering within the infrastructure or construction sectors.
Strong understanding of structural design, inspection technologies, or engineering analysis tools.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office (or equivalent).
