What You’ll Do

As an Employment Support Consultant in the Workforce Australia program, you’ll play a key role in helping participants thrive in their new employment. You’ll provide tailored post-placement support, build strong relationships with employers, and provide practical, on-the-job assistance that promotes confidence, independence, and long-term success.

• Support Participant Success: Provide mentoring and regular check-ins to identify and address workplace barriers, enabling participants to achieve long-term, independent employment.
• Strengthen Employer Partnerships: Collaborate with employers to identify workplace needs and deliver practical, on-the-job support that benefits both participants and businesses.
• Deliver Practical Solutions: Assist participants with workplace training, upskilling, and adjustments to promote independence and job sustainability.
• Claims Processing: Accurately track hours and earnings for all participants, follow up on documentation, and ensure timely and compliant claims submission in line with program guidelines.

What You Bring

• Relevant Background: A Certificate or Diploma in Community or Employment Services (or related field) or lived experience navigating support systems to achieve education or employment outcomes is highly regarded.
• Person-Centred & Compassionate: Skilled in delivering respectful, tailored support that builds trust, promotes independence, and achieves meaningful outcomes.
• Accountable & Detail-Oriented: Self-motivated with a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, and independently managing priorities.
• Tech Savvy: Confident with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and digital tools.
• Pre-Requisites: Full eligibility to work in Australia, with the ability to travel locally and obtain a National Police Check, Working with Children Check, and/or Vulnerable Persons Check.
