About the Role
As a Customer Support Consultant, you'll play a critical role in helping our customers get the most from our platform. You will work closely with the Service Desk Manager and wider technical teams to provide high-quality support via our service desk, contributing to customer satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve a range of payroll-related support queries
Ability to pivot between tickets/support requests throughout the day
Deliver support via phone and Microsoft Teams with professionalism and clarity
Configure and optimise payroll system settings based on customer requirements
Liaise with the Technical Services team on complex technical issues
Provide valuable feedback to help improve the product and customer experience
Build strong, long-term relationships with customers by providing consistent, high-quality service
What You'll Bring
Essential:
Solid understanding of Australian payroll legislation and processing
Experience providing client support in payroll, workforce management or finance environments
Clear and professional communication skills – both written and verbal
Confidence in learning and using new payroll software platforms
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
Australian work rights are mandatory for this position
Desirable:
General understanding of New Zealand legislation and processing
Experience with SaaS or cloud-based business tools
Background in payroll processing and practical experience in pay office procedures
