Fitzy’s is an iconic hotel on the Darling Downs bringing the very best of lunch, dinner, drinks, functions and more – 7 days a week A family owned pub with a long and exciting history in Toowoomba. While there has been changes to décor and layout over the years, some things stay the same – Fitzy’s is still the best place in Toowoomba to meet with friends, enjoy a meal and relax with a drink.

Given the ongoing success of Fitzy’s and the continued growth of our team – we are now looking for a DUTY MANAGER – a full time salaried role.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Duty Manager to join the full time leadership team. Fitzy’s is a busy, well loved, local venue and we are looking for someone to help us keep that energy rolling. You will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the hotel, leading the front of house team and ensuring all our guests have a first rate experience – every time.

You will:

· Lead and supervise bar, bistro and gaming operations

· Manage customer’s experience

· Be responsible for Cash handling

· Assist with staff training and stock control

We are looking for someone with proven hospitality leadership experience and a passion for the industry. The person we are looking for will have:

· Experience at management level within a busy hospitality venue

· A confident, reliable manner and be able to remain calm under pressure

· Be customer focused with high level communication skills

· A current RSA, RSG, RMLV and Approved Manager’s licence
