About the role

We are looking for an experienced Duty Manager / Supervisor to join our team at Hogan's Wellington Point Hotel in Wellington Point, Queensland. As Duty Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our dynamic and thriving hotel. This is a full-time position that will see you leading a team of hospitality professionals and ensuring the highest standards of customer service are maintained at all times.

What you'll be doing

Overseeing the smooth running of all hotel operations

Coordinating and supervising staff to ensure efficient service delivery

Handling customer queries and complaints effectively and professionally

Monitoring and maintaining health, safety and security standards

Assisting with staff rostering, training and development

Conducting regular inspections and reporting on performance metrics

Supporting the General Manager with administrative and financial tasks as needed

What we're looking for

Extensive experience (minimum 3 years) in a similar Duty Manager or Supervisor role within the hospitality industry

Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively under pressure and make timely decisions

Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving skills

Thorough understanding of hospitality operations, policies and procedures

Proficiency in using hotel management software and technology

A passion for creating exceptional guest experiences
