The role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our clients finance team. This position will provide essential support to the Finance Manager during a maternity leave cover period, with potential for ongoing involvement as the team grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) duties, including invoice processing and payments.
• Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end closing tasks and reconciliations.
• Support the Finance Manager in preparing financial documentation, reports, and analysis.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely processing of transactions.
• Process subcontractor payments and manage supplier documentation.
• Assist with monthly settlements, account reconciliations, and reporting schedules.
• Provide administrative and accounting support across daily finance functions.
