About the Role
As an Assistant Broker, you’ll support a senior broker in managing a diverse commercial portfolio. You’ll be involved in renewals, new business processing, quoting, and client correspondence, while developing your technical skills and product knowledge across multiple industries.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in insurance broking, with direct mentorship from an experienced leader.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to the Branch Manager across a mixed commercial portfolio
• Assist with renewals, policy documentation, and endorsements
• Liaise with clients, insurers, and underwriters to ensure timely and accurate service
• Prepare quotes, summaries, and other client documentation
• Maintain accurate client records and compliance standards
• Support new business opportunities and cross-selling initiatives

About You

• Experience in insurance broking or underwriting support preferred
• Tier 1 qualification (or working toward) highly regarded
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Team-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn
• Confident using broking systems and Microsoft Office suite
