About the Company

Salexo Recruitment is partnering with a leading Sydney-based fire safety and maintenance company that provides comprehensive solutions including installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire alarms, extinguishers, emergency lighting, and sprinkler systems. With a strong reputation for compliance, reliability, and customer service, they’re now looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to help expand their maintenance portfolio and client base.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional with proven experience in fire maintenance or fire protection services. You’ll be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing key relationships, and driving ongoing growth across service and maintenance contracts.

Key Responsibilities

Generate new business opportunities within commercial, industrial, and strata sectors.

Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.

Prepare and present tailored proposals, quotes, and tenders for fire maintenance services.

Collaborate with internal operations and compliance teams to deliver outstanding service.

Maintain an up-to-date understanding of Australian Standards (AS 1851) and fire safety regulations.

Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.

About You

Proven background in sales or business development within fire maintenance, fire protection, or building services.

Solid understanding of fire systems and maintenance requirements.

Confident communicator with strong negotiation and presentation skills.

Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.

Current driver’s licence and ability to travel across Sydney.
