Job Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to track and manage financial data.
• Handle payroll processing and employee-related financial transactions.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Prepare tax returns and assist with audits.
• Perform any other accounting-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Accounts Officer, Accounting Clerk, or similar role, ideally within the haulage or logistics industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Xero)
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
