Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Local Government to engage a Service Manager Financial Planning. This position is located in their busy Cleveland office for an initial 7-month contract.

About the Position
The Service Manager Financial Planning leads the Financial Planning Unit, driving long-term financial modelling, corporate budgeting, and revenue forecasting. This role provides strategic financial advice, oversees team performance, liaises with stakeholders, and ensures compliance with accounting standards and local government legislation.

Duties

• Lead financial planning unit
• Develop long-term financial models
• Oversee corporate budget process
• Manage general rate modelling
• Liaise with external stakeholders

Requirements/Skills

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting
• Knowledge of Australian standards
• Leadership and team management
• Strong financial modelling expertise
• Excellent communication skills
