Maxima are on the hunt for a Service Manager Financial Planning for a 7 month assignment based in Cleveland.

This role will see you working Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours with a casual hourly pay of $56.60 (negotiable on experience) to lead, drive and support the Financial Planning Unit to achieve the efficient service delivery of several portfolio areas including Long-term financial modelling, general rate modelling, long-term financial strategy + more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight and direction for the provision of a broad range of financial modelling services
• Lead and manage the annual review of Long-Term Financial Strategy in accordance with statutory guidelines and legislative requirements
• Produce an annually revised document that is consistent with the revised policy positions, congruent with the financial model
• Provide oversight and direction for the annual corporate budget development process and associated reviews
• Manage the provision of general rate revenue modelling services
• Participate as a member of the senior management team within Financial Services

Success Profile:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles, methodologies and systems required to provide services in the areas of financial forecasting and budgeting, financial modelling and scenario analysis at an organisation, business and service unit level
• Proven track record and skills in the leadership, development and coordination of staff in a team environment
• A consistent track record of achievement in delivering high quality, customer-focused financial and associated administrative services with previous experience in long term financial modelling, revenue modelling, strategy development and workshop facilitation
• Accomplished interpersonal skills, and oral and written communication skills
• Well-developed computer literacy skills with a proven track record in the application and use of financial management systems and applications
