Seeking Experienced Medical Receptionist for our GP Practice - Immediate start position available

Lake Macquarie Family Medical Practice is a well-established family-owned GP Practice dedicated to providing high-quality, personalised care to our patients. We're proud to be an accredited practice with a team of 3 experienced GPs and 2 skilled Nurses. Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional healthcare in a warm and welcoming environment.

Full time/Part time Position - Immediate start available

Thorough on-the-job training will be provided and above Award pay afforded to the right candidate, dependent upon previous experience and knowledge.

We're Looking For:

A friendly, organised, and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic team! As a key member of our practice, you'll be the first point of contact for patients and provide exceptional administrative support to our GPs and staff.

About the Role:

- Manage patient bookings, records, and correspondence

- Provide excellent customer service and respond to patient inquiries

- Handle phone calls, emails, and messages efficiently

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

- Work effectively in a team environment and independently when required

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively

- Proficient in medical software and administrative tasks - Best Practice experience preferred

- Ability to work unsupervised and maintain patient confidentiality

- Working knowledge of Medicare requirements and processes
