• Lead the planning, execution and delivery of ICT projects

Our client, a Federal Government department whose focus is supporting the Australian Parliament, requires the services of a Project Manager.

Duties of the Project Manager:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of ICT projects in line with departmental and government policies and frameworks (e.g. PGPA Act, Digital Service Standard).
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary project team, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain detailed project documentation.
• Manage stakeholder expectations across government departments.
• Ensure adherence to change management and procurement processes within a government context.
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as required to achieve desired outcomes.

Skills and Experience Required for the Project Manager:

• Technical competence and experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring Project Manager teams in Federal Government environments.
• Formal PM qualifications.
• Parliamentary Services experience (highly desirable).
