The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a track record of delivering ICT projects in complex government environments. This role will see you managing multiple streams of work, driving outcomes through effective communication, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with government frameworks.

This is a rare opportunity to work on high-profile programs that directly support national capability while building strong relationships across government.

Please note: This opportunity is open to Australian Citizens with a minimum Baseline Clearance as required by the Federal Government.

The Role

As a Project Manager, you will:

• Lead the delivery of ICT and business change projects across multi-year programs
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and governance processes
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and executive sponsors
• Apply structured project management methodologies (PRINCE2, MSP, Agile)
• Prepare and present project documentation, reports, and briefings for technical and non-technical audiences
• Ensure compliance with federal government standards, frameworks, and security requirements

The Ideal Person

You are an accomplished ICT Project Manager with 10+ years’ experience managing complex technology and transformation projects. You bring a balance of technical understanding and excellent people skills, enabling you to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.

You will bring:

• Proven experience leading ICT projects in the Federal Government sector
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated ability to deliver outcomes in complex environments
• Formal certifications in project management (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, PMP, Agile)
• Familiarity with government assurance, compliance, and security frameworks

It’s a bonus if you have:

• Experience delivering ERP, digital transformation, or infrastructure uplift projects
• Exposure to Agile/Hybrid project delivery environments

Salary / Rate

• $140/hr – $165/hr including 12% Super
