Our client, a very large Federal Government Organisation, whose focus is on national security is seeking an experienced RAID Manager to lead risk, actions, issues, and decisions across high-profile projects, driving best-practice risk management and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, impactful environment.

Duties of the RAID Manager

• Run risk management and planning workshops;
• Develop risk management artefacts e.g. Risk Management Plan, Business Rules and Risk Monitoring Dashboard etc;
• Setup processes and procedures, ensuring alignment with the organisations Risk Management Framework and the organisations Risks and Issues Management Manual (PRIM);
• Monitor and manage Program and Project delivery RAID elements;
• Coach and mentor project team members on risk management practices.

Skills and Experience Required

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal skill;
• Ability to build and sustain productive and collaborative working relationships;
• Ability to professionally develop members of the team;
• Demonstrated ability in managing project risks, issues and opportunities;
• Flexible and able to adapt changing business need;.
• Experience in applying risk management methodologies aligned with best practice international standards (e.g. ISO 31000:2018);
• Experience working with a range of stakeholders from junior to senior management;
• Understanding of Capability Life Cycle Project Delivery.
