Customer & Project Coordinator | Custom Flatpack Kitchen Manufacturing

📍 Melbourne, VIC

💰 $80K–$95K (Full-Time Equivalent)

🕓 Part-Time or Subcontract — with potential to grow full-time as we expand

About the Company

The Flat Pack Kitchen Co. is Proudly Australian Cut, Made & Owned, leading the next generation of custom flatpack kitchen manufacturing.

We combine precision technology with real industry experience to make bespoke kitchens accessible, affordable, and easy to order.

Our team is growing fast, with expansion already underway across multiple states.

About the Role

We’re looking for someone who understands kitchen design and manufacturing from the inside out — materials, hardware, and production software.

You know how kitchens are designed and constructed — from layout and finishes to workflow through manufacturing — and how to keep projects moving smoothly from client to factory floor.

You’ll also work with warm leads and active customers, calling and guiding them through the process — converting consultations into confirmed orders through professionalism, accuracy, and energy.

This isn’t a cold sales role — it’s about helping customers make confident decisions by translating design knowledge into results.

We’re open to part-time employment or subcontractor arrangements for the right candidate with strong manufacturing experience.

Your Day-to-Day

Run Zoom and face-to-face consultations with customers to confirm layouts, finishes, and specifications.

Call and follow up warm leads daily, providing friendly, knowledgeable support that converts interest into orders.

Review and finalise jobs — checking cabinet details, hardware, and stone selections before release to manufacturing.

Work confidently with files from Cabinet Vision, CabMaster, or equivalent manufacturing software to verify job accuracy.

Liaise with design and production to keep workflow clean and efficient.

Manage customer questions, changes, and fixes calmly and professionally.

Maintain job tracking and communication through HubSpot.

Assist with re-engagement emails and customer touchpoints when time allows.

What You’ll Need

Experience in kitchen manufacturing, cabinetry, or joinery — essential.

Hands-on knowledge of Cabinet Vision, CabMaster, or similar manufacturing software.

Proven experience in kitchen design, with a strong understanding of space planning, ergonomics, and functional layouts.

Deep understanding of construction methods, hardware systems, and stone components.

Ability to read plans, elevations, and production drawings confidently.

Organised, process-driven, and proactive — you spot potential issues before they happen.

Strong communicator, confident making daily calls and building relationships with customers.

Calm, professional, and solution-focused under pressure.

Who You Are

You’re not here to sell — you’re here to make things run right.

You can speak the language of both customers and cabinetmakers, and you take pride in precision, efficiency, and clear communication.

You’re confident calling leads, converting interest into projects, and keeping customers informed and excited.

You’re the steady operator who keeps jobs moving and customers happy.

Why Join Us

This is your chance to be part of a growing Australian manufacturing company with a clear vision for national expansion.

You’ll be joining a tight-knit team where experience matters, your ideas are valued, and your work directly impacts how we scale.

We’re building something different — a modern, tech-driven kitchen company built by the industry, for the industry.
