Our government client is seeking a highly skilled Finance and Support Officer (AO7) to deliver expert financial support.

Your key Responsibilities

• Contribute to operational and ICT project budgets and forecasts
• Utilise an existing model (using advanced excel skills like Power Query)
• Support end-of-month and end-of-year financial processes
• Contribute to financial reporting, cost management and variance analysis
• Maintain strong compliance with financial policies and internal controls
• Liaise with key internal stakeholders to support performance and reporting needs

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience across project, financial and management accounting
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• High-level time management and organisation in fast-paced settings
• Experience with AP and contract management processes (beneficial)

Desirable but not essential

• Familiarity with Agile project tools such as DevOps
• Experience working with ICT budgets
• Proven record in resolving financial issues and identifying improvement opportunitie
