The Organisation:

The Position:
This Department is looking for someone to join their team on a 12 month contract; the role will be reporting directly to the Project Manager. Working in a team of 3, you will be in charge of the following:

• Providing strategic financial advice and hands-on financial management support across teams within the department.
• Driving the budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and financial reporting processes to achieve accurate results.
• Managing ICT budgets, overseeing critical financial processes at the end of each month and financial year, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Driving detailed financial management tasks, such as accounts payable (AP) processing, budget and variance reporting, and contract management, as well as the financial oversight of ICT projects.
• Ensuring compliance and maintaining effective financial controls.
• Collaborating with key stakeholders to help to meet governance, reporting, and performance requirements.

Your Profile:
To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will have previously demonstrated all or most of the below:-

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to automate tasks and processes to improve efficiency.
• Experience in project accounting, financial accounting, and management accounting.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Great attention to detail
