Our State Government client is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join their Corporate Finance team.

• Lead tax and compliance activities in a supportive environment

Your Responsibilities

• Build collaborative relationships across teams to achieve financial goals
• Lead annual Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) preparation and compliance
• Conduct monthly reviews and analysis of General and Subsidiary Ledgers
• Prepare technical position papers and recommend improvements
• Provide strategic input on accounting policies and system enhancements
• Support ad hoc financial duties to ensure service delivery

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Extensive FBT knowledge and experience
• Strong technical accounting skills and policy knowledge
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Able to work independently and contribute in a team environment
• CPA qualification (highly desirable)
