Senior Accountant – Temporary Assignment
About the Organisation
Our client is an emerging Australian company backed by leading global investment partners. This will initially be a 3-month temporary assignment and requires an immediate start.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage month-end processes, including general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Oversee finance systems, internal controls, and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Drive improvements and resolve issues related to the SAP S4Hana system, ensuring the system supports accurate reporting and efficient finance processes.
• Prepare statutory reporting and assist with external audit requirements.
• Provide timely and accurate financial reporting to support decision-making across the business.
• Coach and support junior finance team members.

Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

• Degree in Accounting or Finance (CA/CPA preferred or studying towards).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial accounting.
• Proficiency in SAP; experience with SAP S4Hana advantageous.
• Advanced Excel skills.
