Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant based in Toowoomba, QLD. We will consider part time hours for suitable applicants.

• Supportive, family-style work culture

o Preparation of BAS and tax returns

o General bookkeeping and reconciliations

Renumeration is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of GST and Australian Tax law and processes

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations

Proficiency in maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferrable, or relevant experience

3+ years’ experience in an accounting practice

Experience with accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Lodgeit, Xero, MYOB, Reckon or similar) is a plus

IPA, CPA or CA certification is an advantage (we are an IPA practice)
