Our Community Connections team located at Modbury, has an exciting opportunity for someone to join the team and contribute to the numerous services and programs it delivers for its community.
Reporting to the Team Leader Community Development, this position works collaboratively with staff and volunteers across multiple functions, providing reliable and flexible administrative assistance that helps the department achieve its strategic objectives and operational outcomes.
Key responsibilities
Coordinating the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, receivable, and other financial processes.
Coordinating the volunteer program delivery at Council’s Road and Cycle Safety Centre.
Provide high quality administrative support in the areas of Community Development, Events, Arts & Culture, and Volunteer development.
Collation and input of departmental monthly statistics to track service level data to enable monitoring of service metrics.

This is a permanent part time (0.8 FTE) opportunity.
About you
Well established communication skills to convey information with clarity and professionalism.
Planning and prioritising skills, meeting competing deadlines, and delivering upon set work outputs.
Strong analytical and accuracy focused mindset with great attention to detail.
Pragmatic mindset to resolve process challenges.
Ability to work with minimal supervision to use initiative and judgement.
Must have a current DHS Working with Children check or the willingness to obtain one.
Be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment.

Salary range is between $83,751 - $89,871 (full time equivalent) plus superannuation guarantee and will be negotiated commensurate with skills, experience and qualifications.
