POSITION: Foundation Support Officer
REPORTS TO: Grants Manager
LOCATION: Adelaide CBD
HOURS: 15.2 hours per week (0.4 FTE)
SALARY: $65,000 - $70,000 FTE + 12% super
Please note, this role has a January 2026 start date.
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented individual to join our small and dedicated team in a part-time role. The position plays a vital role in the smooth operation of the Foundation, providing administrative, communications and grants support.
The role works with internal and external stakeholders, and colleagues across the philanthropic sector. It will suit someone who is confident juggling a variety of tasks and shares our commitment to making a positive impact in the community.

The James and Diana Ramsay exists to honour the legacy of the founder, Diana Ramsay AO, her husband James Ramsay AO, and their spirit of generosity. Through impactful grant-making we aim to impact the lives of many people by fostering excellence in the arts, health innovations, and programs for young people.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Foundation Support Officer provides broad support to ensure effective grantmaking and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include:
· Provide administrative support to Foundation team members, including meeting coordination, assisting in preparation of Board papers and minute taking
· Assist with database management
· Communications co-ordination, image management, sourcing website and newsletter content
· Update and maintain website (WordPress)
· Review and refine digital assets
· Maintain records management and documentation for correspondence, agreements and marketing materials and archiving of key organisational documents
· Assist with logistics for events and meetings when required
· Coordinate IT needs and troubleshoot issues as required
· Support project delivery including planning itineraries, site visits and communication with stakeholders
· Manage general enquiries, ensuring efficient communication and response handling
REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES:
This role may suit someone who has worked in the for-purpose sector. The successful candidate will be comfortable working as part of a small team as well as taking initiative and responsibility.
· Experience in administration, communications, office support, or the not-for-profit sector is highly desirable
· Ability to build strong relationships based on trust and respect with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
· Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to plan and manage projects when required
· Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including staff, Board, Foundation partners and colleagues.
· Knowledge of the following software: Microsoft office, grants management systems, Canva, Wordpress, Mailchimp
· Flexibility and desire to attend events which may occur outside of office hours
