About the role

As the Senior Support Officer (Remote and Community), you'll provide high-level administrative and recruitment support to the Director of Nursing – Remote Facilities. This is a key role ensuring the smooth coordination of nursing workforce activities across our remote sites.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate recruitment processes and onboarding for nursing and midwifery staff.
  • Maintain accurate HR and recruitment databases, documentation, and correspondence.
  • Liaise with agencies and government bodies regarding recruitment and sponsorship.
  • Provide administrative and confidential support to the Nursing and Midwifery Support Unit.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive workplace.

Requirements

  • Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
  • This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, Hep B and Tuberculosis.
  • A period of probation may apply.
