The Role

Join a structured care environment supporting a long-term NDIS participant with Autism Level 3 and complex support needs. The role focuses on providing safe, consistent, and person-centred care aligned with behavioural support and communication plans.

Key responsibilities include:

• Personal care and daily living assistance
• Emotional and behavioural regulation support
• Domestic assistance and facilitation of community access
• Implementation of structured routines and communication strategies
• Accurate documentation and adherence to support plans

You’ll be great in this role if you have:

• Experience in neurodevelopmental disorders, especially Autism
• NSW Driver Licence and your own insured vehicle
• Current Checks: NDIS Worker Screening, Working With Children Check, National Police Check, First Aid & CPR
• Reliable availability in the Central Coast area

Highly Regarded

• Experience supporting people requiring emotional regulation, communication support (AAC), and structured routine-based care.
• Promote communication using AAC tools (iPad) – training provided
• Manual Handling and Behaviour Support training
• Confidence with care plans, incident reporting and team communication

What We’re Looking For:

1. Experience supporting clients with Autism.
2. Compassionate, calm, and consistent approach to care.
3. Ability to follow care plans and communicate with families and care teams.
4. Female support workers required for female aged care clients.
5. NSW Driver’s Licence and an insured vehicle (essential for community access and school pick-up/drop-off).
6. Mandatory: NDIS Worker Screening Check, WWCC, First Aid & CPR Certificate.
