Tax Accounting & Financial Reporting

Part time 9-30am to 3pm (2 to 5 days a week)

About the Role

We are seeking a tax accountant to assist us to service our current client base.

The primary purpose of your role is preparing financial accounts and tax returns.

Eastern suburban accounting firm located next to Nunawading station.

Small friendly team, relaxed work environment, suitable for a mother who can only work School hours.

Core Responsibilities: -

Preparing of tax returns Preparing of financial statements

Preparing of financial statements

Assisting in processing weekly payroll and quarterly superannuation payments

General Bookkeeping

Ad hoc projects or reports as required

Requirements and Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of work experience in accounting

Skills and Competencies:

Software skills including, MYOB, Xero, MAS4, Microsoft and Outlook

Strong attention to detail

Excellent verbal communication skills

Understanding of confidentiality

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

Demonstrated ability to work autonomously

Tech savvy and able to learn new software programs quickly
