Part-Time Tax Accountant

100% Remote on casual basis (Expecting 6-8 hours per week, ideally across multiple days). Flexible weekday hours can be accommodated but some of the hours need to be completed during normal business hours.

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Tax Accountant to join our expanding team. This role is 100% work-from-home. We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running, with an immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare income tax returns and financial statements for individuals and small businesses.

Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS and PAYG Withholding Variations

Confident across property related returns for individuals and trusts

Work collaboratively with the team in a supportive and positive environment

Ensure accuracy and compliance with current accounting standards and regulations

About You

Tertiary qualification in Accounting

Minimum of 2 years' experience in public practice or an accounting firm

Proficient in accounting programs – Xero and Xero Tax

Experience with investment property matters – ITR & Trusts
