Are you passionate about creating safe and healthy workplaces? We’re seeking an experienced and proactive Work Health and Safety (WHS) professional to become a vital part of our team.
In this dynamic role, you’ll collaborate closely with both indoor and outdoor staff across a variety of Council worksites throughout the city. Your expertise will help shape a culture of safety and ensure compliance with Council’s WHS policies and legislative requirements.
A pivotal role to provide hands on support to teams located at our waste depot in Dunmore, works depot in Oak Flats, Shellharbour Civic Centre Administration building and other workplace locations across our local government areas. You will work in collaboration with the team who are dedicated to ensuring employee safety throughout all of Council.

What we are offering:
- A Permanent full-time position (35 hours per week) with flexible work hours to help you balance your schedule.
- Commencing salary range from $80,011 - $84,908 per annum with the ability to participate in annual appraisals for step progression
- Motor Vehicle Allowance: Enjoy a generous annual allowance of $10,780, conveniently paid weekly to support your travel needs.
- 12% superannuation

Please Note:
- This position requires a General Construction Induction Card (White Card) prior to employment.
- You will need to complete a Pre-placement Medical Assessment.
