We’re on the lookout for a driven and autonomous Business Development Manager to join one of Australia’s leading industrial coatings manufacturers, with a strong presence across commercial and industrial sectors.

- Competitive salary of $80,000 to $110,000 + Super

ROLE EXPECTATIONS:
This is a pivotal sales role focused on expanding the Victoria and New South Wales footprint. You’ll work closely with architects, trades, manufacturers, and distributors to grow our market share and position our business as a leader in industrial and commercial coating solutions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Actively prospecting and securing new business opportunities
- Building and maintaining long-term client relationships across the building, trade, and design sectors
- Educating clients and partners on technical product offerings and capabilities
- Managing your own pipeline and sales strategy independently
- Working collaboratively with internal teams across QLD and VIC to support project delivery
- Providing feedback to the business on market trends and product perception
- Contributing to sales growth through solution-based selling and strong rapport building
CANDIDATE EXPECTATIONS:
We’re looking for a sales professional with a strong hunter mentality and a deep understanding of the construction or coatings landscape. Ideally, you’ll have:
- Proven experience in business development, technical sales, or trade-focused account management
- A solid network or experience working with architects, trades, and distributors
- The ability to work independently and manage your territory proactively
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and close deals
- Technical product knowledge in coatings, concrete, or industrial materials (highly regarded)
- A reputation for being results-driven, client-focused, and reliable
