Purpose The purpose of this role is to manage end-to-end implementation and closure of a Content Manager upgrade and the rollout of Info Hub projects.

A Senior Project Manager is required to:

• Complete the upgrade of our Content Manager records management system
• Rollout Info Hub, the Commission’s knowledge management system, which is based on M365 (SharePoint, MS Teams and Purview).

Sitting within the Corporate Services Group, this role reports to the Director Governance.

This role suits a business focused senior career project manager that has prior experience in implementing M365, managing end-to-end testing and working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Experience with electronic records management systems will also be highly regarded.

Requirements
The work required by the role includes:

• Provide end-to-end project management, including schedule and resourcing requirements, managing performance (schedule, risks and issues, budget reporting, change control) and stakeholder and supplier communication.
• Manage user acceptance testing and non-functional (performance, security, disaster recovery) testing for business systems.
• Work with enablement lead to ensure all business change is integrated into the project.
• Manage service transition of IT and business processes into operations.
• Support and coordinate procurement related activities with suppliers, including developing and SOWs and contract renewals.
• Manage the identified supplier contractual arrangements including contractual payment milestones incurred through the life of the Project.
• Manage and coach the project team and internal SMEs within a matrix environment to deliver the project’s objectives.
• Establish testing controls and supporting environments to ensure the required quality prior to service transition into operations, involving extensive engagement and management of internal stakeholders.

Skills, experience and attributes
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will be a team player and have the following experience:

• Delivery of software development and testing within an agile / hybrid approach
• Knowledge management, M365 (SharePoint, MS Teams, Purview) and understanding of records management compliance
• Commercial acumen, with government experience working with suppliers to develop SOWs, contract renewals, SLA management and PO/invoicing.
• Work within an Enterprise Portfolio Management Office environment and delivering a project as part of a larger programme
• Have strong analytical capabilities including issue and risk identification and mitigation/resolution skills
• Be ‘hands-on’ and able to develop and maintain the Project Controls themselves (scheduling, risks, issues, budget, status reporting, etc.)
• Financially astute, able to develop and maintain a project budget, provide accurate forecasts and variance analysis, monthly accruals and change requests as required, raise purchase orders and liaise with suppliers on quotes, invoicing and cost completion.

Rate: $1100 daily
Contract length: 3 November 2025 to 31 March 2026
