Business Project Manager- Digital Transformation

Daily Rate Contract – up to $1100 including super | 6 Month Contract | Hybrid

Shape strategy and drive delivery of an enterprise digital transformation initiative.

We are seeking an experienced Business Project Manager to lead a small-scale digital project of approx. $500K value. This client-side role will be responsible for managing three external vendors concurrently to ensure successful delivery of the new enterprise platform.

The contract is for 6 months, with an attractive daily rate of up to $1100 including super.

About the Role

As the Business Project Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of the digital transformation project. You’ll be the key point of contact between the business and multiple vendors concurrently, ensuring scope/PM frameworks are established, timeline and budget alignment to provide overall project governance, risk management and visibility to the leadership group.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and manage the delivery of the project in collaboration with the vendors.

· Drive vendor management concurrently– ensuring contractual obligations, timelines, and quality outcomes are achieved.

· Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the vendors to establish & maintain commercial objectives and outcomes.

· Establish and provide the project plan, reporting, tracking milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.

· Ensure strong governance and best practice project management methodology is applied throughout delivery.

· Maintain focus on benefits realisation and change adoption within the business.

Skills & Experience

· Proven track record in delivering enterprise digital transformation projects as a client-side project manager and ability to provide specific examples of your experience in delivering successful projects.

· Strong vendor management and negotiation skills – experience in driving outcomes with third-party providers.

· Advanced stakeholder engagement, communication, and project governance capability.

· Ownership – ability to take full accountability for the project and delivery outcomes.
