About the role

Whiteman Edge Medical and Dental Centre is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to oversee the successful operation of our growing medical and dental practice in Brabham, WA. As Practice Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of our facility, managing administrative tasks, and supporting our dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

What you'll be doing

Oversee all administrative functions of the practice, including managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and handling billing and payroll

Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and enhance the overall patient experience

Manage and lead a team of administrative and support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback

Liaise with healthcare providers, suppliers, and external stakeholders to coordinate the delivery of high-quality patient care

Analyse practice data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and make informed business decisions

Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and legal requirements

Contribute to the strategic planning and growth of the practice

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience in a practice management or healthcare administration role

Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including medical and dental practice operations, regulatory requirements, and patient-centred care

Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

Proven leadership and team management experience, with the ability to motivate and develop staff

Proficient in the use of practice management software, electronic medical records, and other relevant technologies

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and other stakeholders

Relevant tertiary qualifications in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field
