Operations Officer (eCommerce & Logistics)

Location: Sydney, NSW
Position Type: Full-time
Salary: A$60,000-$70,000 per year + superannuation (depending on experience and skills)

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Logistics

Pack and dispatch customer orders efficiently using Starshipit and Shipstation both domestically and internationally

Coordinate with couriers and manage shipping logistics for all inbound and outbound postage

Maintain accurate records of consignments, deliveries, and stock movements.

Customer Service & Sales Support

Serve as the first point of contact for calls and emails. Manage the phone lines and direct incoming enquires to the appropriate staff.

Manage the company inbox, ensuring timely responses and professional communication.

Handle customer and vendor enquiries with accuracy and care.

Qualify incoming leads and refer them to the appropriate team members.

Follow up with customers and consignors to maintain engagement and satisfaction.

Inventory & Listings

Update and maintain inventory records.

Create and manage product listings across sales platforms, including eBay.

Respond to buyer messages and manage order queries through eBay.

Administration

Maintain organised digital records of enquiries, leads, and communications.

Support the management team with general administrative tasks as needed.

Skills & Experience

Required:

Current driver’s licence (for occasional pickups and deliveries).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organisation, time management, and attention to detail.

Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.

Ability to work independently, show initiative, and solve problems effectively.

Preferred:

Prior experience in customer service, administration, or sales support.

Interest in coins, collectables, or auctions

Salary & Development

Starting salary: A$60,000-70,000 per year + superannuation

Training provided: Hands-on learning across all key business functions.
