About the role:
To provide strategic leadership in shaping Aurora’s people and culture agenda by driving large-scale transformation and embedding practices that strengthen organisational capability, culture, and inclusion.
To align people initiatives with Aurora’s mission and strategy, build leadership effectiveness, and foster an engaging workplace where collaboration, purpose, and performance thrive.
Responsibilities:
Oversee IT infrastructure, cloud services, and end-user support across multiple sites.
Identify opportunities for system improvements, automation, and innovation.
Ensure reliable, secure, and cost-effective systems, networks, and devices.
Manage the IT budget and ensure cost-efficiency.
Provide IT leadership and technical input into cross-functional or organisation-wide projects
Lead data governance practices to ensure accuracy, integrity, privacy, and compliance with Aurora’s Data Storage and Retention policy and relevant Australian legislation
Implement and maintain cybersecurity frameworks, policies, and awareness programs.
Manage relationships with IT vendors, consultants, and service providers to ensure value-for-money and alignment with organisational needs.
Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs).
Work closely with all stakeholders to understand and analyse IT requirements to meet business needs
Articulate and document business requirements, to conduct as-is/to-be process mapping and business process re-design
Continuously assess risks of various solutions and prioritise competing business demands
Regularly consult with internal users for satisfaction with internal systems and vendors and cater to training needs when required.
Design end user training to ensure the effectiveness of change initiatives and increase user capability.
Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development to build capability and succession.

About you:
Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and/or equivalent experience
At least 5+ Years of experience in Microsoft 365 implementation with sound knowledge of cloud solutions
Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to work to deadlines with all stakeholders across the business
Technical experience supporting and managing software, business applications, and IT infrastructure
Demonstrated experience in delivering presentations to senior management and facilitating training sessions for all business users
Demonstrated work experience in working on Power Platform – Power Apps and Power BI
Awareness of emerging technologies and responsible AI usage, including governance considerations
High-level written and verbal communication skills, including written processes and report writing
Experience working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
High attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to adapt to new environments/systems and respond to changing demands
Experience working with a not-for-profit organisation in a Software Development/Product and Marketing Manager capacity (Desirable)
Dynamics 365 CRM certification (Desirable)
Coding experience in HTML, CSS, JS, SQL, XML, Azure, C#, and .NET Framework (Desirable)
Experience working in an agile environment
