A well-established enterprise operating across Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia is seeking an experienced ICT Systems Manager to lead the strategy, development, and optimisation of business-critical software systems. This is a pivotal role within the senior leadership team, responsible for shaping the digital roadmap, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring the seamless delivery of enterprise platforms across multiple business units.

About the Role

As the ICT Systems Manager, you will provide vision, leadership, and hands-on management of enterprise software solutions, ERP systems, databases, and application integrations. You will collaborate closely with executive stakeholders to align system capabilities with business objectives, drive innovation, and deliver continuous improvements that enhance cost-effectiveness, performance, and service quality. This position partners closely with infrastructure teams, senior management, supply chain, finance, operations, and offshore teams to deliver scalable digital solutions and maintain high system availability.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Leadership

• Drive the ICT systems strategy and digital roadmap in line with business goals
• Lead planning, prioritisation, and execution of enterprise software initiatives
• Develop business cases, cost/benefit analyses, and risk assessments
• Contribute to organisational governance as a senior IT leader

Systems Development & Deployment

• Manage ERP, software applications, and database environments (e.g. MS SQL, Syteline or similar)
• Oversee system design from requirements definition to delivery
• Lead stakeholder consultation to define system improvements and integrations
• Establish disaster recovery and business continuity strategies

Operational Excellence

• Ensure continuous delivery of ICT systems with strong SLAs
• Promote compliance with legal, regulatory, and security standards
• Optimise vendor partnerships and licensing agreements
• Monitor performance and implement best-practice operational controls

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Build strong relationships across senior leadership and operational teams
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure full alignment
• Lead, mentor, and inspire teams in a collaborative environment

What You’ll Bring

• 10+ years’ experience leading ICT software systems in complex environments
• Proven success in ERP systems (e.g. Infor Syteline, SAP, Oracle or similar)
• Strong experience in systems strategy, design, deployment, and lifecycle management
• Solid database knowledge (MS SQL or equivalent)
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive ROI
• Experience in digital transformation and enterprise project delivery
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to lead with vision, influence outcomes, and manage competing priorities
