Access 2 Place (A2P), is a Tier 2 not-for-profit disability community housing provider registered to provide Specialist Disability Accommodation under the NDIS. The Role
The NDIS (SDA) Claim & Account Receivable Officer will work closely with NDIA, clients, representatives, and key stakeholders to ensure seamless management of SDA funding, claims, and budgets while ensuring accuracy, timeliness in all SDA claims and reconciliation activities.
The role will be responsible for liaising with the NDIA, preparing and managing SDA claims to ensure they are processed efficiently, maintaining accurate payment reconciliations and clear financial reporting including resolving any payment discrepancies and disputes promptly. It also works closely with Finance, Housing & Property Maintenance Teams to ensure all NDIS financial processes comply with organisational and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage key stakeholder queries promptly and professionally
Create, process and lodge weekly and ad-hoc SDA claims and invoices
Review month-end data, perform reconciliations, identify and resolve issues, and ensure accurate and timely completion of required reports
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, audits and other financial activities related to NDIS data
Maintain accurate records, NDIS plans and SDA budgets, ensuring all SDA claims and client budgets are prepared and managed in compliance with the NDIS framework, supported by effective communication with NDIS Support Coordinators and Plan Manager, and timely gathering of required information
Support the Finance team in meeting compliance, reporting and operational objectives by working collaboratively under the guidance of the General Manager Finance
Person Requirements
Essential
Previous experience using my NDIS provider portal (PACE), my place provider portal or similar
Understanding and proven experience of SDA claiming processes, payments, budgets and compliance requirements within the NDIS framework.
Demonstrated ability to resolve payment discrepancies and handle disputes effectively.
Understanding of NDIS SDA dwelling enrolment and registration processes.
Competence in interpreting NDIS plans and funding guidelines.
Strong administration skills, with experience in maintaining records.
Excellent data entry and word processing skills.
Highly proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel.
A positive and energetic approach to work.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
Proven ability to create, develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proactive attitude towards staying informed about industry updates and regulatory changes.
Desirable
Knowledge of Chintaro, MYOB or similar systems.
Current driver’s license
Financial or accounting qualifications
Candidates must have or be willing to obtain prior to employment a relevant NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check.
