The Opportunity
The First Nations Support Officer is an Education Support Officer (ESO) to provide culturally responsive support to First Nations students. Working collaboratively with teaching and support staff, families and community, the ESO fosters a safe, inclusive, and empowering learning environment that respects and celebrates First Nations identity.
This role contributes to the academic progress, wellbeing, and cultural engagement of First Nations students through targeted support, mentoring, and advocacy. The position also promotes staff awareness of culturally appropriate practices and contributes to whole-College initiatives that enhance First Nations student outcomes.

Qualifications and Training:
Screening clearance and current valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) to work in Catholic Education SA.
Current valid Responding to Risks of Harm Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC).
Current and accepted HLTAID012 - Provide First Aid in an education and care setting.
