About the Role:
We’re on the hunt for a passionate, results-driven Trade Sales Development Manager to lead and manage a key regional territory across Bendigo and surrounding areas in Regional Victoria.
This full-time role presents an exciting opportunity to work across a growing trade region where you'll be responsible for increasing sales, developing key relationships with trade and commercial customers, and building Penrite’s presence in a high-potential regional market.
Reporting directly to the Trade Sales Manager, this role offers autonomy, variety, and scope to make a real impact. Occasional travel, weekend work, and attendance at trade events may be required.
Responsibilities:
Build and implement strategic sales plans to meet revenue goals and grow Penrite’s market share
Develop and maintain strong, lasting relationships with trade and commercial customers
Identify new business opportunities through regular field visits, local market knowledge, and competitor analysis
Represent Penrite at key industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
Deliver regular sales performance updates, pipeline reports, and market feedback to senior leadership
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in territory or regional sales management (automotive, industrial, or trade-related sectors preferred)
Prior tenure with a major oil brand or a reseller/distributor of a major oil and lubricant company
Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets through effective business development strategies
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently across a wide geographical area
A proactive leader who enjoys building relationships and delivering value on the ground
Must have the legal right to work in Australia
