About the Role:

We’re on the hunt for a passionate, results-driven Trade Sales Development Manager to manage the Victorian Metro region Northen and Eastern suburbs across Richmond, Craigieburn, Preston, Mill Park, Montmorency, and South Morang. This full-time role involves overseeing a diverse territory across Melbourne’s central metropolitan area, from the inner suburbs to the outskirts. In this pivotal role, you'll drive sales growth, develop key relationships with trade and commercial customers, and help elevate Penrite’s brand presence.

You’ll report directly to the Trade Sales Manager (Vic/Tas) and may occasionally attend trade shows and weekend events as part of the role. Some evening work may be required for key events or meetings.

Responsibilities:

Build and implement strategic sales plans to meet revenue goals and grow Penrite’s market share.

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and business partners.

Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to uncover new business opportunities.

Represent Penrite at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to strengthen our market presence.

Deliver regular sales forecasts, reports, and presentations to senior leadership, offering insights into performance and market conditions.

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in field territory management (ideally within the oil, lubrication, or industrial sectors)

Prior tenure with a major oil brand or a reseller/distributor of a major oil and lubricant company

Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets through effective business development strategies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on building lasting customer relationships.

Self-motivated with strong time management skills and a proactive approach to driving sales.

Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
