About the role

Ferntree Gully Automotive is seeking an experienced Fleet Sales Manager to join our dynamic team in Ferntree Gully, Victoria. As the Fleet Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and managing our growing fleet sales division, overseeing the sale of Isuzu, Chery, Suzuki, GMSV, JAECOO, MG, KGM & Volkswagen vehicles to corporate and commercial clients across the region.

What you'll be doing

Proactively identify and pursue new fleet sales opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers in the corporate and commercial sectors

Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to contract negotiation and closing deals

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve ambitious revenue targets

Provide expert advice and guidance to fleet customers on vehicle selection, financing options and after-sales support

Collaborate with the wider sales team to ensure a cohesive and customer-focused approach

Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and pricing

Prepare detailed sales reports and forecasts to track performance and identify areas for improvement

What we're looking for

Proven track record of success in a fleet sales or commercial sales role, ideally within the automotive industry

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients

Thorough understanding of fleet management, financing, and the unique needs of corporate and commercial customers

Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve targets

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
