We are seeking a dedicated and motivated After School Care Coordinator to lead a well-established Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program at a welcoming primary school in Mildura. This is a 12-month full-time position (38 hours per week) with an immediate or asap start, involving split shifts during term time and full-day hours during vacation care. The program is licensed for up to 60 children, with typical attendance of 20–40 students per session.

The OSHC program is school-council operated and works closely with the leadership team and teaching staff to ensure consistent, high-quality care that complements the school’s learning culture.

The successful candidate will lead a small, supportive team that includes an Educational Leader and casual educators. Responsibilities include coordinating daily operations, planning engaging activities, maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations, and fostering positive relationships with families and school staff. Ongoing professional development opportunities are provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of high-quality before and after school and vacation care programs
• Ensure all operations meet National Quality Standards and child safety requirements
• Supervise and support OSHC educators and casual staff
• Contribute to the effective management of the service
• Build strong relationships with children, families and the school community

Qualifications required:

• Completed or undertaking ACECQA-approved qualification.
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current Level 2 First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training

Experience with the Xplor childcare management system will be highly regarded.
