We supply a wide range of plant machinery to the construction, landscaping, and civil industries – and we’re looking for the right person to help keep our hire operations running smoothly.
About the Role
Are you looking for a fast-paced role where no two days are the same?
As our Hire Coordinator, you’ll be the central point of contact for customers, internal teams, and service providers. You’ll make sure the right gear is booked, delivered, and returned on time while keeping operations running smoothly and customers happy.
This is a hands-on, varied role with plenty of opportunities to grow as our business expands.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate equipment hire bookings, extensions, returns, and dispatch
Provide hire advice, quotes, and frontline customer service (phone and in person)
Schedule deliveries and collections with drivers; organise transport/logistics
Maintain accurate hire records, rental agreements, and documentation
Process customer payments and keep financial records up to date
Track and update fleet availability in the hire system
Liaise with the Operations Manager on daily operations and priorities
What You’ll Bring
Previous experience in hire, logistics, scheduling, or service coordination (preferred)
Knowledge of plant/equipment or machinery (training provided)
Computer literacy and confidence using digital systems
Strong organisational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Confident communicator with a friendly, professional manner
Experience with HirePOS or similar hire/fleet management software / willingness to learn new systems
Current driver’s licence and full Australian work rights
