We are building something very special here. This venue will be driven by Hospitality and focusing on how we make people feel, not just what we serve them. We’re searching for a passionate and organised Event Coordinator to join our team at Crittenden’s new restaurant and existing multi award winning winery, that will do just that. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in delivering unforgettable experiences at one of the Mornington Peninsula’s most iconic wineries.
About the Role
As Event Coordinator, you’ll be the main point of contact for all event enquiries internally and externally—from the very first email through to the big day itself. You’ll guide our guests through the journey of enquiry, booking, planning, and execution, ensuring every detail is handled with care and professionalism.
This is a hands-on role, where you’ll be present and involved in each event, from weddings and private celebrations to corporate functions. On weekends without events, you’ll step into a restaurant host role, ensuring seamless service for our dining guests.
Beyond private functions, you’ll also coordinate and deliver Crittenden Wines' signature events, including wine dinners, VIP functions, and our much-loved annual Garden Party and will closely with the Cellar Door and Marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all event enquiries for the restaurant and the cellar door, and bookings, from initial contact through to event delivery
Build strong relationships with guests, ensuring their needs are understood and exceeded, focusing on how you make them feel
Liaise with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure flawless event execution
Be hands-on during events, overseeing set-up, service, and guest experience
Act as host in the restaurant during non-event weekends to deliver unforgettable moments to our guests
Coordinate winery events including wine dinners, VIP nights, and the annual Garden Party
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
Experienced in event coordination or hospitality (restaurant or winery experience a plus)
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident in managing multiple events at once. Some of these events will be offsite, so some travel will be required at various times
Extremely personable and driven by making our guests feel welcome
Excellent communication skills
Comfortable leading from the front in a hands-on role as a Host and as a Co-Ordinator
Flexible and available to work weekends and evenings, this is a non-negotiable requirement
