The role

KAW Chiropractic is seeking a dedicated Chiropractic Assistant to join our growing practice in Ballarat, Victoria. Working part-time, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to our team of chiropractors, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our clinic.

Key responsibilities

Greeting and welcoming patients, managing reception duties and answering phone inquiries

Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments, including follow-ups and reminders

Maintaining accurate patient records and updating electronic medical files

Assisting chiropractors with clinical procedures, including preparing treatment rooms

Processing payments and handling insurance claims

Ordering and maintaining inventory of medical supplies and patient materials

Providing exceptional customer service and a positive patient experience

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a medical or chiropractic assistant, or in a similar healthcare administrative role

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a warm and professional manner

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail

Proficient in using medical software and electronic health record systems

A passion for the healthcare industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
