Launchpad is looking for a Chef Assistant or experienced Cook!

We are seeking a qualified Chef Assistant or experienced cook to prepare meals for the children in our beautiful centers, located in Lower Plenty, Greensborough and Diamond Creek. You will be working over all 3 centers supported by our professional team. We have spectacular Class 1 kitchens and you would be supporting an amazing Chef to prepare our nutritious and delicious menu for our little people to enjoy. The hours required are from 6.30am to 2.30 pm, allowing for great work/life balance and you would be working 3-4 days a week with the opportunity to become full time for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will have:

*A Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery or a recognized culinary qualification is preferred.

*Experience working in a kitchen within a childcare setting preparing meals for children under 5 years of age

*A thorough knowledge of food allergies and intolerances

*An ability to utilize and adhere to a Food Safety Plan

*Food Handling Certificate and WWC
