Location: The Blood Unit

The Blood Unit is looking for a friendly, organised and reliable Medical Administrator to join our small, supportive team. This is a casual position with the potential to become permanent for the right person.

About the Role

You'll be the welcoming face of our practice, helping patients feel comfortable and supported while keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. This varied role involves coordinating appointments, managing patient records and billing, and providing administrative support to our clinicians.

What You'll Be Doing

Greeting patients and managing bookings and enquiries

Maintaining accurate medical and billing records

Preparing correspondence and supporting clinicians with day-to-day tasks

Liaising with pathology and referring doctors

Helping keep our practice organised and efficient

About You

You're warm, professional and enjoy helping others. You have great attention to detail, communicate clearly and work well in a busy, team-based environment.

We're Looking For

Previous experience in medical or healthcare administration

Minimum of 1-2 years of medical or healthcare administration experience

Confidence with medical software and Microsoft Office

Strong organisational and multitasking skills

A caring, patient-focused approach

Australian work rights are required for this position
