Qualifications & experience

At least 3 years of specialist medical secretary and at least 1 year of specialist medical practice management role.

Tasks & responsibilities

Medical secretarial work including routine front desk responsibilities (phone calls, clinic management and liaison with patients as well as other providers i.e., other practices and hospital wards/infusion centre etc.)

Practice affairs including staff recruitment and rostering, liaison with neurology technicians/scientists.

Ensuring practice and specialist accreditations and insurances are up to date.

Practice supplies and ordering

Protecting and furthering practice business interests including marketing.

Robust initiative with an understanding that ensuring business and marketing aspect remains a key performance indicator.

Conflict resolution and staff support
