About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Practice Manager to join our dynamic medical practice in Taringa, Queensland. As a part-time Practice Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth day-to-day operations of our practice, ensuring exceptional patient care and supporting our dedicated team of medical and allied health professionals.

What you'll be doing

Manage the administrative and operational functions of the medical practice, including scheduling, staffing, inventory management and financial reporting

Implement and monitor policies, procedures and systems to improve efficiency and patient experience

Liaise with healthcare providers, suppliers and other stakeholders to coordinate the delivery of services

Oversee the recruitment, training and performance management of administrative staff

Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and industry standards

Analyse practice data and metrics to identify opportunities for growth and improvement

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment for the entire practice team

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Practice Manager or in a similar healthcare administration role

Strong knowledge of medical office operations, including billing, scheduling and inventory management

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with patients, clinicians and other stakeholders

Proficient in using medical practice management software and other relevant IT systems

Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities

A passion for delivering exceptional patient care and improving healthcare outcomes
