About us:

Our client is a ‘Start up’ Practice – opening early November (25). This Plastic Surgeon will be based at Spring Hill in a newly built suite offering consulting and minor procedures. A second Surgeon will also be joining the practice. We are looking for a dedicated Practice Manager to commence this practice on a full-time basis.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Practice Manager to bring their previous Specialist Practice experience to set up this practice. The successful candidate will be involved with developing systems, managing daily operations, business development, and be part of hiring a team of support staff. As the first staff member, you will have a valuable impact on the development of this business.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee the daily operations of clinics, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.

· Financial Management: Manage surgical billing and invoicing of room fees.

· Team Leadership: Hire, lead, mentor, and manage clinic staff, including administrative, nursing, and support teams.

· Patient Experience: Ensure a high standard of patient care and satisfaction, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally. Continue to build an experience across all clinics where patients actually enjoy going to see this surgeon and feel listened to and cared for.

· Liaise with GPs, medical specialists, patients, and other stakeholders to foster a collaborative and positive work environment.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience as a Practice Manager or in a similar role within the healthcare industry.

· Experience with patient billing, Medicare claiming and Private Health Insurance processes.

· Strong leadership and team management skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· In-depth knowledge of Specialist practice processes including IT skills (Gentu ideal).

· Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
